TIME26 – Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms & Privacy Policy

By registering for TIME26 (the “Conference”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Policy outlined in Section 5. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

The Conference is organised by Clintix Pty Ltd (ABN: 65 682 026 106) (the “Organiser”).

2. Personal Information Collection & Use

2.1. When you register, we collect your name, contact details, and relevant registration details. This information is used to:

  • Manage your registration and participation in the Conference.

  • Provide updates and communications related to the event.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

2.2. Your personal information will be securely stored and retained for administrative and record-keeping purposes. If you wish to access, correct, or delete your data, please contact hello@clintix.com.au.

3. Marketing Communications (Opt-Out Available)

3.1. By registering, you consent to receiving event-related communications and future marketing materials from the Organiser about upcoming events, industry news, and services.
3.2. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting optout@clintix.com.au.

4. Sharing of Information with Third-Party Sponsors (Opt-Out Available)

4.1. We may share limited personal details (name, organisation, and email) with selected sponsors and partners to facilitate post-event engagement. Sponsors may contact you with relevant industry insights, products, or services.
4.2. If you do not wish to have your details shared, you may opt out during registration or at any time by contacting optout@clintix.com.au.

5. Privacy Policy

5.1. The Organiser is committed to protecting your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
5.2. Your data will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties. Any data shared with sponsors will be limited and only used in accordance with their privacy obligations.
5.3. We implement appropriate security measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

6. Refund Policy

6.1. Refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Due to venue agreements, supplier commitments, and payment charges, refunds may not always be possible unless specifically outlined at the time of purchase or under exceptional circumstances.
6.2. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person at no extra charge. However, resale of tickets without prior approval is not permitted.
6.3. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will receive a credit equal to their registration fee, valid for three years for future events.

7. Travel & Insurance

7.1. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance once your registration is confirmed. This can help protect against unexpected events such as travel disruptions, natural disasters, industrial action, or other unforeseen circumstances.
7.2. The Organiser cannot be held responsible for financial losses, personal injury, or property damage incurred during the event or any associated activities. Delegates are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

8. Event Changes

8.1. We may need to make adjustments to the schedule, venue, content, or format to enhance the Conference experience. If any significant changes occur, we’ll communicate these as early as possible.

9. Bookings Outside the Conference

9.1. Travel, accommodation, and any other arrangements made separately from your conference registration are your responsibility. We recommend checking cancellation policies with providers before booking.

10. Unforeseen Events

10.1. In rare cases, external factors such as natural disasters, strikes, or travel disruptions may impact the event. While we cannot take responsibility for financial losses due to these circumstances, we will do our best to offer alternative options where possible.

11. Event Conduct and Liability

11.1. Attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or remove attendees for inappropriate behaviour.
11.2. The Organiser is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the Conference, except as required by Australian law.

12. Intellectual Property

12.1. All content presented during the Conference, including speaker presentations, materials, and recordings, remains the intellectual property of the Organiser or respective content owners.
12.2. Recording, copying, or distributing Conference materials without prior written consent is not permitted.

13. Photography & Media Consent

13.1. The Organiser may capture photographs and video footage during the Conference for promotional and marketing purposes.
13.2. By attending, you consent to the use of your image in future promotional materials. If you wish to opt out, please notify the Organiser in writing before the event.

14. Changes to Terms

14.1. The Organiser reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Any changes will be communicated to registered attendees.

15. Governing Law

15.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
